Fun Facts:
  • My journey in science started from my 7th grade when I set out to be an astronomer. Over the following 6 years, I became an amateur astronomer, participated and won awards in a number of science fairs and competitions, including an International Astronomy Olympiad.
  • The natural world beneath the sky has always fascinated me, which drove me into biology, and ultimately, anthropology and population genetics.
  • I self-identify as a life enthusiast - traveling and photography are two of the surviving essentials for me
  • I am a Chinese National B-level athlete in swimming, although I hate the smell of chlorine and rarely get into a pool nowadays.
